What We Print
Industrial FDM printing for B2B clients — farms, engineering workshops, OEM component suppliers, and product developers. We do not do hobby prints. Minimum order applies to ensure production efficiency.

Available Materials
Pricing is calculated from file volume × material density × cost per kg. All prices are estimates — final quote confirmed after file review.
| Material | Best For | Temp Resistance | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| PLA | Prototypes, low-stress components, display parts | ~55°C | Most affordable |
| ABS | Engine bays, enclosures, moderate impact parts | ~95°C | Good impact resistance |
| PETG | Outdoor parts, fluid-contact, food-safe (raw) | ~80°C | Chemical resistant |
| ASA | UV-exposed outdoor agricultural/industrial parts | ~95°C | Recommended for outdoor use |
How It Works
01 — Upload Your STL or 3MF File
Export your 3D model from CAD (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, FreeCAD, etc.). Binary STL and 3MF formats are auto-parsed. STEP files trigger a manual review. Maximum file size 50 MB. Water-tight geometry recommended for accurate volume calculation.
02 — Select Material, Colour & Quantity
Choose the material and colour closest to your spec. Select your quantity tier: 5–10 units, 11–30 units, or 50+ units. Larger batches attract lower per-unit pricing due to reduced setup overhead and material optimisation.
03 — Receive Your Instant Estimate
Volume is calculated server-side from your geometry. An estimated material cost is returned immediately. A minimum job cost applies regardless of part size to cover setup, slicing, and handling.
04 — Confirmed Quote Within 24 Hours
We review your file, verify printability (wall thickness, overhangs, support requirements), and send a confirmed quote via email or WhatsApp. Production starts on quote acceptance. Typical lead time 3–7 business days depending on batch size.
05 — Production & Nationwide Delivery
Parts are printed, inspected, packed, and shipped via courier to any address in South Africa. Local clients in the Garden Route and Western Cape can arrange collection. Bulk orders above 50 units are phased where required.
Common Questions
What is the minimum order quantity?
Minimum order is 5 units per SKU. Single prototype prints are available but subject to a minimum job cost, which covers slicing, setup, and machine time regardless of part size. This is a professional B2B service — we are not set up for individual one-off hobby prints under the minimum threshold.
How accurate is the instant estimate?
The estimate is based on pure material volume (geometry × density × material cost/kg) and does not include support material, print time, post-processing, or labour. Actual quotes are typically 20–40% higher than the raw estimate once all factors are accounted for. The estimate is a planning guide, not a binding price.
Can you print from STEP or IGES files?
Yes — send STEP or IGES files via the Upload Your File page or WhatsApp. We convert them in-house and return an STL/3MF for your confirmation before quoting. Conversion is free of charge.
What wall thickness is recommended?
Minimum recommended wall thickness is 1.2 mm (3 perimeters at 0.4 mm nozzle). Structural parts should be 2.4–3.6 mm walls with 40–60% infill. We will flag thin-wall issues during our file review before confirming your quote.
Do you offer post-processing or finishing?
Support removal and basic cleanup is standard on all orders. Sanding, priming, threading inserts (heat-set), and acetone smoothing (ABS) are available on request — specify requirements in your quote request and we will price accordingly.
